Managing an individual employee's time is one thing, but what about managing a collective team's time? If your team is struggling with meeting deadlines and managing their time as a group, there are ways you, as an employer, can help.
Here are some strategies to help get your team back on track:
Create a hypothetical, but realistic, work situation that illustrates an example of poor time management. Then, have your team brainstorm solutions and suggestions for how to improve the situation.
Take your team through time management skill-building training. For example, we offer our clients an online training portal that includes time management strategies for success.
Perform a demonstration with your team about different ways to use the email system you have. You can show them ways to use the calendar feature, or category functions, to improve their time management. You can set up a shared team calendar, too, so that everyone is on the same page and knows their deadlines.
