


A business professional with more than 25 years experience in management, Fortune is Chairman of Century II.
Prior to Century II, which he acquired in 1997 and sold to Fortune Industries in 2005, Fortune founded Contract Sales Managers (CSM), a niche staffing firm. During this seven-year period, CSM was a Century II client.
Prior to CSM, he was the number two executive at Mycor, a diversified real estate owner/operator. He spent six years at Rodgers Construction as VP of Business Development and five years at Aladdin Industries after earning his MBA from the Owen School at Vanderbilt.
Fortune has served as Board Chairman of the Nashville Red Cross, President of the Owen School Alumni Association, Board President of Tennessee's American Diabetes Association, Chairman of the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce Long-Range Planning Committee, and past board member of several other local charities.
He founded the Nashville Sailing Foundation and serves as its Chairman, is a member of the Harbor Island Yacht Club and past Commodore of the Percy Priest Yacht Club.
Highly engaged in community and civic affairs, Fortune is a Leadership Nashville Alumnus, member of the Downtown Rotary Club, a Board Member of the United Way of Williamson County, Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce, Nashville Capital Network, and received Nashville’s Entrepreneur of the Year award in 2004.
